Mr. Villena is engineer of the Patent Department of Estudio Ramírez & Abogados and he is in charge of the mechanics, electric and mining areas.

His practice is focused in the preparation and drafting of patents, industrial designs and utility models, search reports of the state of the art, analysis of expert reports, the replies on the objections of the patentability and expert objections for the prosecution in our country and abroad.

As Patents Coordinator, Pedro heads the group of Department Engineers in the mechanical, electrical, industrial designs and utility models area. He monitors and supervises the work of her team and also performs individual work regarding the prosecution of patent applications, industrial designs, and utility models during the substantive examination phase, specifically with patent applications related to the above mentioned practice areas.

Additionally, he focuses his practice in prior art searches, patentability analysis, and drafting of new patent applications. He provides his clients with specialized advisory in the technical and legal fields to find the best way to obtain a patent.
